Cable Construction

ConductorSolid plain annealed copper wires
InsulationMica/Glass Fire Resistant tape covered by high performance fire resistant Silicone Rubber, Type EI2 to BS EN 50363-1.
Metallic ScreenAluminium backed polyester tape helically applied with 125% coverage, aluminium in continuous contact with the uninsulated earth conductor for 2,3,4 core) or drain wire (for 7,12 or 19 core)
SeparatorPolyester tape helically applied with 25% overlap
ArmourOptions available SWA (Steel Wire Armour) GSWB (Galvanised Steel Wire Braid)
